Missions Ministry

The goal is to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew. 28:18-20) by:

  • Helping brothers and sisters to love and care about missions and become more like Christ.
  • Equipping and encouraging the congregations to partake in expanding God’s kingdom to the unreached people.
  • Practicing missional living in daily life.

Direction of missions ministry:

  • Partner with selected missionaries and missions organizations through prayer and financial support.
  • Develop long- term missional partnership through exploratory field visits, short or mid-term missions trips.
  • Equip gifted brothers or sisters to become missionaries and send them out to different missions’ fields.

Role of missions committee:

  • Stewardship:  Allocate financial resources to appropriate areas/missionaries.
  • Fellowship: Caring, communicating, and maintaining spiritual discernment with missionaries.
  • Discipleship: Develop a heart for missions and grow congregations’ involvement through missions newsletters, annual missions conferences, and monthly missions prayer meetings.
