About CLGNJ

Church of Living Grace of New Jersey (CLGNJ) is a non-denominational Christian church. Our roots can be traced back to the early days of the Cantonese ministry at Chinese Christian Church of New Jersey (CCCNJ). The core group of a few families started a Cantonese Sunday seeker class by faith in 1993. On December 11, 1994 the first Cantonese worship took place. Based on the vision of the leadership and the rapid growth of the Cantonese congregation, CCCNJ planted the Cantonese ministry out in 2001 to form a new church named “Church of Living Grace of New Jersey”. On September 2, 2001, CLGNJ had its first Sunday service in Ramada Inn at East Hanover.

In the next 12 years, our church had to move approximately once every four years. We leased different venues including Ramada Inn in East Hanover, Gibbs College in Livingston, and Morristown Beard School in Morristown. Nonetheless, the love of God has kept our church family together in unity.

By God’s grace, we purchased the Parsippany property at 800 Jefferson Road in 2011 and started our first worship service on March 31, 2013. Praise the Lord! We finally have a church building that we can call “our own”! May we best utilize this place for sharing the Gospel and glorifying God!
